Biography of Rob Budd

Memories To Memoirs founder Rob Budd (known to many as Lucky), graduated from the University of Victoria with a Masters degree in History, with a focus on oral history, in 2005. With a background in audio preservation, Rob was entrusted with the preservation and restoration of one of the largest oral history collections in the world by the CBC and Royal British Columbia Museum from 2000 to 2004. Rob’s work has led to several talks to both graduate students and the public at the Royal BC Museum and at UVic. Rob has worked with organizations such as the Okanagan Indian Band, Provincial Archives of British Columbia, Neskonlith Indian Band as well as many private collections.
