A standard personal history produced by Memories To Memoirs includes:
- Preliminary background interview to get acquainted
- Up to 2 full days of interviews, digitally recorded with professional audio recording equipment by a trained historian
- Full transcriptions of the entire interview sessions
- Audio editing into user-friendly segments, so that the story has flow and is easy to follow
- A companion book consisting of transcriptions of the edited audio tracks, including photos, contextual information and other items of historical relevance to your story, so that the story really comes alive
Upon the completion of the project, which typically takes 8-15 weeks, depending on the breadth of your story, you will receive 5 copies of a saddle stitched bound, hard-cover, full color book, up to 150 pages, including archival grade compact discs of your story, in your own words. In this way, future generations can hear the story of your life in your own words while following the text of the story!
